The English Department at the University of  Puerto Rico, Mayagüez  Campus is distinguished not only for its academic excellence, but for its internationally renowned faculty.  With over 200 students and 31 faculty members, the department is well known for its coursework in the areas of Conversational English, Public Speaking, Advanced Composition, Creative and Technical Writing, Literature, and Linguistics.
